MANCHESTER, N.H. —
In 2021, Londonderry's Jacob Naar tragically died in a car crash at 17 years old.
He was a captain on the Lancers' football and lacrosse teams.
To honor him, his friends and family started the Naar Classic Basketball Tournament, which is in its sixth year. It'll be played August 1st at the LAFA fields in Londonderry.
Branching off of the basketball games, the Naar Classic Foundation has been formed.
They're planning a brewery event in October with details to be announced.
"We'd like to continue to have these community events in his honor so people will remember him," Executive Director Arianna Reyes told News 9 sports.
"I know that Jake's parents really love the events that we put on."
